Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party - ANRP

It all started on the 16th December, 2016. Some Nigerians, tired of the woeful failures of the Nigerian successive governments over the years, came together and formed an association which they named Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party. They started discussing how they could make a positive impact on how governance is done in the country at all levels.
Those discussions led to a formal application for registration as a political party in January 2017. About 7 weeks after the application was submitted to the country's electoral umpire, INEC, an acknowledgement was received by the association, which also instructed it to go ahead with the fulfillment of requirements for registration of a political party.

An unprecedented congress was held on May 22, 2017, where hundreds of members of the association attended from every nook and cranny of Nigeria. National and state officers of the association were elected and ratified at the congress, and the constitution adopted.
That congress was followed by INEC's officials' visit to the headquarters of the association on 5th June, 2017, which was the final requirement. Officials of the association at both national and state levels were interviewed and verified by the visiting INEC officials. The expressions on the officials' faces was that of positive impression by what they saw.
We received an AOK in November, 2017. And today, through an official communication from INEC, Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party, is *pronounced* as a registered political party in Nigeria, alongside twenty others, which brings the total number of registered political parties in Nigeria to 67. Congratulations to all our members all over the country.
The journey has just begun.
